Check Out Some Exclusive Robyn Hitchcock Performances

Legend Robyn Hitchcock is out with his first self-titled album today (April 21), and, to celebrate, we have two exclusive performance videos that were shot as part of Yep Roc’s Sawyer Sessions in North Carolina.

First up, Hitchcock performs “Aquarium,” off of the 1990 album Eye, followed by “I Pray When I’m Drunk,” from today’s brand-new release. The two tracks represent just a glimpse of Hitchcock’s discography, which includes records with the Soft Boy, the Egyptians and beyond.

“I wanted [Robyn Hitchcock] to be a summary of my career,” he told TIDAL. “I wanted to do it at the end of my career, rather than the beginning. People often say, ‘Where should I start with your records? You’ve made four hundred albums or something. Where do we start going through this labyrinth?’ I figured they could start at Robyn Hitchcock and work backwards.”

Check out the videos below, and let Hitchcock’s latest score your weekend.
