RZA’s Cooking Playlist

Raekwon isn’t the only chef in the Wu-Tang Clan. The digital platform allows Chipotle customers to create a song produced by Bobby Digital as they compose their order. So as you’re building your chicken burrito bowl or carnitas tacos, a range of instruments from the piano to the tuba soundtrack the mix of flavors in your meal.

TIDAL sat with the Staten Island-bred vegetarian to discuss designing musical flavor profiles and his personal cooking playlist consisting solely of one of his personal favorites, Frank Sinatra.

Local Scenes

From big cities come big sounds. The city of Boston has bred distinguished acts like Guerilla Toss and rising stars such as Today Junior. Meanwhile, Philly has recently shown their brotherly love for the music industry by establishing itself as a major place for bands to grasp their footing in the game. Groups from Pissed Jeans to The War on Drugs have their roots planted in Philadelphia. Lastly, the Twin Cities have had their fair share in giving the world high quality musicians. Although unsure if it’s the vast farmland between the two cities or the tall buildings in the heart of Minneapolis that spark the artists’ creativity, we won’t question the incredible sounds that come from Minnesota.

To hear the variety of tunes stemming from the East coast all the way to the Midwest, lend your ear to these playlists that are all about the local scene.
