Kite Base’s “Nineteen” Video is Youth at Its Most Delicate and Fleeting

Kite Base is Ayşe Hassan of Savages and Kendra Frost, and, today, they’re premiering the video for their song “Nineteen” exclusively on TIDAL. The track comes off of their 2017 album, Latent Whispers.

“‘Nineteen’ is a nostalgic homage to carefree times spent dancing to music as a teenager,” Frost told TIDAL. “It is a fond reflection upon a time of youthful discovery in all its fleeting glory.”

“The video was filmed around Kyoto and Osaka station in Japan, places where people are in transit: arriving, departing, meeting new people,” Frost added. “It mimics the ebb and flow of someone’s journey through time in general.”
