3) Los Premios Heat Winners
Last night, the Latin American music network HTV hosted the 3rd annual Latin Heat Awards where the most popular artists get recognized for their work in the industry. Nacho, Sebastian Yatra, and Bad Bunny all delivered electrifying performances at this years stage from Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. Big winners included J Balvin, who walked away with three awards, Carlos Vives for Best Tropical Artist, and the Golden Award, as well as Best New Artists CNCO and Fanny Lu. Among the attendees were Colombian singer-songwriter Farina, and Dominican rapper Mozart La Para, both Roc Nation Latin artists.

5) Telemundo Confirms Awaited Biopic “Mariposa de Barrio” Based on Jenni Rivera Life
Telemundo is set to air the Jenni Rivera biopic “Mariposa de Barrio”, on June 27th. The series is set to tell the story and highlight Rivera’s great milestones in her musical career. The late singer will be played by actress Angélica Celaya. “La Diva de la Banda,” as she was called by her beloved fans passed away in a tragic plane accident on December 9, 2014.
