Better known by his Deadmau5 performance moniker, prominent electronic music producer Joel Zimmerman is back today with W:/2016ALBUM/, his most recent studio full-length. The album, as described by Zimmerman, anyhow, is said to have “an 80′s sci-fi, fantasy vibe.” Singles from W:/2016ALBUM/ include “Snowcone,” “Desynchronized,” “Saved,” “Strobe” and “Let Go.” The highly anticipated electronic experience is out today by way of mau5trap, Zimmerman’s personal independent label.

John Legend
Darkness and Light

Grammy award winning singer-songwriter John Legend is back with Darkness and Light, his fifth studio album to date. Supported by  singles “Love Me Now,” “I Know Better” and “Penthouse Floor,” a standout featuring Chance The Rapper, the album is out via GOOD Music and Columbia Records. Produced by Black Mills, John Ryan and Greg Kurstin, Darkness and Light is an album to get lost in.

Childish Gambino
Awaken, My Love!

From acting, to writing, to music, it doesn’t seem like there’s much that the prolific polymath Donald Glover can’t do. The artist released his third studio album, Awaken, My Love!, today under his Childish Gambino musical moniker. With production assistance from Ludwig Göransson and distribution support from Glassnote Records, Awaken, My Love! follows stunning singles “Me and Your Mama” and “Redbone.”

The Rolling Stones
Blue & Lonesome

Blue & Lonesome is the 25th American and 23rd British studio album from the absolutely legendary rock ‘n’ roll powerhouse known across the world as The Rolling Stones. Blue & Lonesome marks the first ever covers album by The Rolling Stones in addition to being their first studio album since 2005’s A Bigger Bang. The blues-based album also includes contributions from bonafide guitar hero Eric Clapton. With production credits going to Don Was and The Glimmer Twins, the album is out by way Polydor Records and follows singles “Just Your Fool,” “Hate To See You Go” and “Ride ‘Em On Down.”

Peter Doherty is truly a jack of all trades. Best known for his work co-fronting the celebrated British indie rock outfit known as The Libertines, the  musician, songwriter, actor, poet and writer released his second solo studio album just today. Produced, recorded and mixed by Johann Scheerer, Hamburg Demonstrations serves as a follow up to his 2009 solo debut, Grace/Wastelands. Headlined by the singles “The Whole World Is Our Playground,” “Kolly Kibber” and “I Don’t Love Anyone (But You’re Not Just Anyone),”the album is out via BMG Rights Management (UK) Ltd..

Oxygene 3

On the 40th anniversary of his original Oxygéne album, French electronic musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre is out with Oxygéne 3, his nineteenth studio album to date. Over the course of his seasoned career, Jean-Michel Jarre has often contemplated “what Oxygène could be if I was composing it today” and, after four decades of waiting, we finally have the result. The album follows leading single “Oxygene, Pt. 17.”

Kane Brown is the self-titled debut studio album from country music singer-songwriter Kane Brown.
