Canadian popstar and Grammy Award winner The Weeknd is back with Starboy, his third true studio album to date. Featuring the likes of Daft Punk, Future, Lana Del Rey and more, Starboy is a mix of dark R&B and upbeat pop. Starboy is headlined by leading singles “Starboy,” “False Alarm,” and “Party Monster.” Starboy is out via XO and Republic records, and is available for streaming on TIDAL immediately.
Real Friday Mixtape
Red Friday marks the first solo mixtape release by hip-hop artist YG since 2013′s Just Re’d Up 2. The west coast rapper and founder of 4Hunnid Records is most well known for his vivid depictions of gang life in his community. His second studio album, Still Brazy, was released to critical acclaim earlier this year. Check out Red Friday, the second release from YG in less than 6 months, just in time for the holidays.
DIM MAK 20th Anniversary
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, a label that has served as a home for the likes of Armand Van Helden, The Chainsmokers, Zeds Dead, Bloc Party, The Kills, Battles, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT and more, the Los Angeles-based outfit is out with a compilation album meant to highlight the label’s best work from over the course of the last two decades.
This Girl’s In Love (A Bacharach & David Songbook)
The Pakistan-born British singer-songwriter known as Rumer is out today with her fourth studio album, titled, This Girl’s In Love (A Bacharach & David Songbook). The artist considers this album to be quite unique, describing it as one “she couldn’t have made five years ago”. Produced by her husband, producer Rob Shirakbari, the album follows singles “Walk On By” and “What The World Needs Now Is Love.”
