Snoh Aalegra Teases ‘FEELS’ Album with Trailer Co-Starring Vince Staples

Since dropping her Don’t Explain EP and the emotional number “FEELS” last year, soul singer Snoh Aalegra returns with a proper trailer for her forthcoming album of the same name.

The clip features No I.D.’s protege and her “Nothing Burns Like the Cold” collaborator Vince Staples switching between humans (Aalegra portrays a lingerie-clad house wife and at one point, even indulges in some Snoh Flakes cereal. See what she did there?) and laser-eyed shells of themselves.

“I wanted to create something that feels real and surreal at the same time,” Aalegra, who was born to Persian parents in Sweden, tells TIDAL of the teaser. The clip begins with a Swedish narrator ruminating about love and freedom, offering, “She was the strongest and the weakest at the same time.”

Aalegra continues, “The Iranian environment and the Swedish narrator are two very important elements that represents the foundation of who I am. Everyone always wonder where I’m from. I’m Iranian from Sweden.”

Stay tuned for FEELS and watch the album teaser below.
