Name: KYAN
Based In: New York, NY
Sounds Like: Neo-Pop/R&B

21-year-old Kyan Palmer had no clue what the world had in store for him when he packed his bags and left Arizona for New York City to work at a record label. After taking a music class in college, Palmer decided to upload an unofficial version of his “Burn Mona Lisa” track to the internet. The recording thrust Palmer into the limelight and he soon became an overnight sensation as his work continued to circulate around the web. The single has since been re-mixed and re-mastered and proves a pleasant blend of R&B and pop. Although he has yet to release a comprehensive project, if his single “Burn Mona Lisa” is any indication of where his career is going, we’re sure he will be a household name soon.
