Watch Rapsody Drop Bars in Premiere Episode of TIDAL & DJBooth’s ‘Bless The Booth’
Following the release of her well-received Roc Nation debut, Laila’s Wisdom, Rapsody hops into the booth for the premiere episode of TIDAL and DJBooth’s Bless The Booth.
Shot at DJBooth’s SoHo, New York City studios, the new video series will showcase the lyrical dexterity of rappers both established and on the rise.
“Y’all underestimated my hype,” the Jamla Records MC says at the top of the clip before spitting a vibrant 16, which contains traces of the Laila’s Wisdom cut “Black & Ugly” featuring BJ the Chicago Kid.
“I remember when y’all used to call me ugly/isn’t it ironic now, they all just want to love me,” the North Carolina rep spits. “So concerned with weight, I’m mo Chucky than I am chubby.”
